In addition to my studio paintings, I have designed costumes and sets for theaters and floats at different carnivals in Cuba and in Cleveland. I have painted and/or directed several large-scale projects and pieces of public art such as “The Mural of the Americas, a Tribute to Roberto Ocasio” currently installed at CSU School of Music and “Flying Over You”, a multimedia mural. Lately, I have completed several glass mosaic murals for different schools. I have been a featured artist for Cleveland Museum of Art’s Chalk Festival and the Allen Memoriaal Museum at Oberlin College, where I have been commissioned to do large-scale chalk murals.

I have worked closely with landscape architects, artists and communities in the design of outdoor classrooms, gardens, public places, and public art. I have also coordinated several community art programs.
