Our Community Quilt

Ceramic acrylic paint, ceramic tile and Sharpie marker on wood panel, 4' x 5', Old Brooklyn Middle School, Cleveland, Ohio, 2009. During this project, I worked with 80 5-8 grade students to design and paint the tiles in 1 day. I had made templates for the houses to make the process faster. First 40 students designed the houses using the templates and the next 40 painted the tiles.
