Tree of Life Mosaic (Finished)
Glass and ceramic mosaic on wood panel, 20' x 12', Timmon Elementary School, Bainbridge, Ohio, 2007. During this project, I worked with 250 3rd grade students to set in the glass tiles in 5 days, grouting and the laying out of the two side panels (only ceramic tiles) took another 2 days. Each 3rd grader designed an animal in the tree of life using glass. The ceramic pieces were created by the 1st and 2nd graders.
